Alom is currently equipped with a total of 7 state-of-the-art automatic hydraulic Extrusion presses from 4 inch to 8 inch container capacity with an extrusion capacity of 24,000 MT per annum. The extrusion facilities are spread across two plants with 4 presses at Balasore, Odisha plant and 3 presses at our Kolkata plant located strategically with proximity to both our domestic customers and ports.
We also have in-house Hot Top Billet Casting and modern Tool-room facilities to enable us to extrude custom profiles and wider range of alloys according to customer requirements. We offer a wide range of standard extrusion profiles and also cater to customer specific designs and requirements.
Providing customized products for clients is our strength. Alom has the unique advantage of combining in a single corporate entity all activities from manufacturing of aluminium extrusions to fabrication and surface finishing such as anodizing, powder coating, and shot blasting, in order to cater to the complete requirement of our clients in the form of ready-to-use profiles. Alom has a third plant Universal Machines Limited (UML) which specializes in customized value added products, producing finished items such as fabricated ready-to-use solar panel frames and hardware and accessories for the building and construction industry among many others.
